How to find a right Web Host.

Beginning with the most simplest question in mind.

This article is based on years of experience and web host switching because of the server issues. What you are going to read here are just few of the things that i realized. So you are searching for a webhost probably the cheapest and you visit their website and find a big list of features they provide, price and special offers with their package and you start an account with them. Then you feel that you are totally not satisfied with their service or that your business is being affected because of them. So following is the checklist for you to check before going for any web host.

1. Web Server Security : Make sure you ask your new web host about the server security. This is too specific for the issue and it does not relate to the uptime percentage claimed by the web host. Once you get your website online your website becomes vulnerable to a lot of not so good issues like hacking, etc. For example DDoS server attack is a Distributed Denial of Service attack over network server and your web host must have a device to avoid these attacks. Many web host don’t and many of them don’t mention in their so big list of features that they have this device because many visitors are not aware of this issue unless they face it. Another problem your website can face is Invisible IFrame attack. Its when your website starts shifting down and an empty spaces keeps adding on top of your website and an iframe code in the html source code. To avoid this issue you simply need to change all your FTP passwords. It at least worked for me. So ask your web host for measures they take to prevent your website from facing such issues.
